The space

The large, sunny living room has a big, comfy sectional, record player, lots of records + bluetooth stereo, propane fireplace and relaxing views of the water. Tons of puzzles, board games, blocks, foosball, a pullout couch and a second propane fireplace in the walk-out basement. Enjoy brainteasers, drawing, chess, and our collection of interesting books in the “Thinking Room” loft.

We love to “unplug” while we are there, but the home has high speed internet as well as TVs with ROKU and DVD players located in the basement as well as the master bedroom.

The first floor master suite features a comfy king size bed, large closet and master bath with a shower and jetted tub. There are two bedrooms upstairs - one with a queen size bed and another with 2 sets of bunkbeds.

Our home is well stocked for preparing family meals including cups and dishes for kids, an Instant Pot, microwave, immersion blender, waffle maker and a dining table that expands to seat plenty of family and friends! There’s a second refrigerator in the basement for storing lots of food and drink.

Grill on the deck while watching eagles soar over the water; and blue birds, robins, chickadees and hummingbirds flitting around the yard. Our fire pit is the perfect place to make s’mores and tell ghost stories! Wander down to our secret spot on the pond’s edge for fishing or just soak in the views. The home also comes with an inflatable kayak, raft, and a stand up paddle board for enjoying the pond.

Other things to note

There is a required $100 registration fee for renters (per group) for the Masthope Mountain Community which includes compactor taccess.

As of 2023 there is a $8 per person, per day fee for access to community amenities like Westcolang Lake, pools, river park, mini golf etc.

Guests are required to read and abide by all Masthope Mountain Community rules and regulations found in the Renters Guide including speeding and quiet hours. We love Masthope dearly and ask all of our guests to treat our community and neighbors with the utmost respect.
